These walking fototball sessions are open to anyone aged 50 and above, regardless of their ability.

Mark Rounding, Chief Executive at Age UK Bradford District, said: "We offer more than just a kick around at the sessions and encourage people to stay around afterwards for a chat and refreshments. Through connecting with older people this way, we can also find out more about what they might want and need from us.”

Humayun Islam, Chief Executive at BEAP Community Partnership, said: "Walking football is a much-needed project in the Manningham area. The sessions bring people together from all backgrounds and we look forward to more people coming along".

The sessions take place weekly every Thursday from 11am-12pm at BEAP's indoor pitch at 31 Cornwall Road, Bradford, BD8 7JN. Each session costs £2 with refreshments provided free of charge.

The hour-long activity includes a gentle warm up and football is played at walking pace with reduced contact tackling.
