Drug & Alcohol Awareness Training (for professionals)

Training for Professionals who work directly with people affected by drug or alcohol misuse.

• Understand the ‘WHY’ – Explore the factors that influence substance use.
• See the impact- Learn about the harmful effects on health, families, and society
• Know your substances – Recognise different types of drugs and their effect
• Break the stigma – Challenge negative stereotypes around substance misus
• Find the help – Where and how to access alcohol and drug support services.

Training can adapted training to cover topics such as:

• Substance misuse and families
• Pregnancy and substance misuse
• Young people or older people
• Cultural perspectives and different communities
• Specific drugs of concern

The training is fully flexible to meet your needs, including dates, time and location. We are able to run online and face to face sessions.
