Breast & Chest Health Awareness Sessions
Pennine Breast Services are running an awareness session on Breast and Chest health led by Julie, a clinical mammographer, on Wed 2nd October 2024. There are four 30 minute sessions running from 11:30 to 13:30 which will take place at the library and health promotion resource centre at Lynfield Mount Hospital.
The session is an opportunity to learn about chest and breast health, screening and to know what’s normal. The session is interactive with videos and pictures to look at and boobs to feel – not just talking! The session will cover:
- Breast cancer risk factors and the signs and changes to look for
- Raising awareness and working with surgeries
- Well person screening services (with a bias to breast)
- Q & A
The session is open to all professionals working in health and promotion (men and women).
