There is a FREE training opportunity as part of the work to understand the impact of Bradford 2025 UK City of Culture.
The Community Researchers Training Programme (CRTP) is a project between Bradford 2025 and the University of Bradford, aimed at teaching people important research and evaluation skills.
In partnership with the University of Southampton, the CRTP builds on successful projects from Southampton and will train members of Bradford’s community to become Community Researchers. The training will cover topics like project design and data collection, with 2-hour weekly sessions over 12 weeks, led by locally trained Research Trainers.
We’re looking for people interested in developing research skills, who have good communication skills, are motivated, and want to explore topics related to the Bradford District. No previous research experience is needed, and the programme is open to adults. The sessions will take place on Wednesday evenings in central Bradford from early October.
