West Yorkshire’s Illicit Tobacco Education Officer is available to provide FREE information and staff training sessions for anyone working with the public. Sessions can also be delivered to schools, colleges, youth and community groups, or you can request a pop-up information stall for your setting.
Organised crime gangs are bringing illegally imported tobacco products into our area, making smoking easily accessible to children and undermining smokers’ efforts to quit. Those selling cheap, illegal tobacco are taking advantage of vulnerable people during the cost of living crisis. Everyone living and working in our communities has a vital role to play in helping raise awareness of this serious issue. By spotting the signs and reporting the perpetrators, we can tackle the problem together.
