The 20 Minute Movement in Workplaces

We want YOU and YOUR WORKPLACE to become part of the new ‘20 Minute Movement’ campaign coming to the Bradford District this April.

Getting more active can support the two main causes of workplace sickness and absence – mental wellbeing and conditions that affect our joints – backs, knees and hips.

Employees who do even a little more physical activity have reported greater enjoyment of their work, improved concentration and mental alertness, and improved rapport with colleagues. It can help increase motivation of employees, reduce illness and sick leave  and staff turnover and increase the quality of work.

We will be providing workplaces with a range of tools and resources to help you promote the  campaign in your workplace, including;

  • Various posters to promote the campaign
  • Promotional “giveaways” for you and your employees
  • Health and Wellbeing training and development for your and/or your staff
  • A “We’ve joined the 20 Minute Movement” window sticker for your workplace
  • A 20 Minute Movement activity planner for your workplace
  • Hints and tips of how to support your staff to feel and do better by getting more active
  • Electronic materials including email footers, Zoom/Teams back-drops, and more!

Best of all, the campaign and materials are free of charge!
