Living Well Making Every Contact Count (MECC) is an approach to behaviour change which uses the day-to-day interactions which people and organisations have with other people to support them to make positive changes to their physical and mental health and wellbeing.
This approach uses the power of short opportunistic conversations. It can help encourage people to stay well, to take steps to address the challenges they face, access support they need, and generally cope better in challenging times. This approach can help to reduce health inequalities.
