Transform your Canteen with Bite Back in Schools

Join our fully funded, student-led programme to transform your school’s food.

Bite Back is a youth-led movement challenging a food system that’s stacked against young people. With junk food flooding our schools, high streets and homes, 1 in 3 children in the UK are at risk of a future food-related ill health. It’s time for change — and students are leading the way.

Bite Back in Schools is a free, fully resourced, flexible programme for students in Years 7–10 to take action on the food served in their schools. From bland menus to overpriced fruit, students identify the problems and lead the change. Our programme is tried and tested, with over 200 schools across England experiencing improved menus, dining spaces & food culture.

What’s included:

✅ £500 grant to support your project
✅ Inspiring kick-off assembly from a Bite Back ambassador
✅ Ready-made session plans & student workbooks
✅ Badges, physical resources & Start-to-end support

“My students are loving the lesson content!” – The Gilberd School

Empower your students to lead real change in your school by raising their voices and improving wellbeing through better food. Join a national movement for healthier schools — and the best part? It’s fully funded and ready to go!

“The Bite Back programme has been a catalyst for change at our school.” – Darton Academy
