Building a culture of children and young people expressing views and actively participating in decision-making processes ensures that their needs and perspectives shape future practice. This fosters a sense of shared ownership and responsibility towards their health and well-being.
We help schools to gather valuable pupil insights that can lead to more effective and meaningful policies. By incorporating pupil feedback, schools in Bradford can ensure that initiatives are relevant and responsive to the needs of their children, ultimately enhancing confidence, engagement, and academic achievement.
We have developed a range of free resources including a pupil voice survey, policy and Governors and local Councillors guidance to empower children’s voices and create a lasting impact. Living Well Schools has embedded pupil voice in all our priority areas and the recommended resources can be found below or in the Support Directory. Recommended local and national organisations to further support your pupil voice provision can be found in the Facilitated Provider section of the website.
