FREE Online Car Seat Safety Training Opportunity
FREE online car seat safety training opportunity, aimed at professionals who transport other people’s children or advise parents and carers.
Why it matters: Children must use a car seat until they are 12 years old or 135cm tall, whichever comes first. A correctly fitted seat can drastically reduce the risk of injury or death in a collision. Alarmingly, during 2024 car seat check events in West Yorkshire, 63% of seats had errors, with 18% being major – putting children at serious risk.
About the training: Offered by the Vision Zero partnership, this CPD-certified, 3.5-hour online course will help you understand child seat law and safe fitting practices. It is aimed at professionals in West Yorkshire who transport children or advise families.
