Reflecting on our PE Community of Practice
Our recent PE Community of Practice brought together schools to explore effective practice and strengthen the quality of PE provision for all pupils – particularly in light of upcoming curriculum and PESSP developments.
The day combined high-quality professional development with time for reflection, discussion and sharing practice. Colleagues described it as “really informative”, with a strong balance of theory and practice that was “very active and engaging, taking home lots of ideas”. The session provided “great food for thought”, with practical ideas that could be taken straight back into school. Opportunities like this are key to supporting high-quality PE and ensuring consistent, impactful experiences for all pupils.
