Nominations needed for Bradford Sanctuary Seekers Education Awards 2025
On Tuesday 17th of June, we will be holding our Bradford Sanctuary Seekers Education Awards 2025. Here is a YouTube highlight of last year’s amazing event Bradford Sanctuary Seekers Awards 2024 which was held at Bradford City Football Club.
This year’s event will be held at Bowling Park, Bradford (BD4 7TL) in the Beacon Mobile Theatre as part of Bradford 2025 City of Culture.
This event is a celebration of the fantastic achievements of students from sanctuary-seeking backgrounds and the amazing work being done by school and college staff, parents, and local organisations.
We’d love you to get involved by nominating students, staff, parents, or organisations for an award.
The categories include:
- Students– for things like excellent attendance, resilience, progress in EAL, or contributions to school life
- Staff– recognising outstanding practice and those who go the extra mile
- Parents– including those who actively support their child’s education or other parents
- Organisations & Individuals– who’ve made a positive impact supporting sanctuary seekers
