Tackling Racism in Sport – Active Bystander Training

The Yorkshire and Humber Anti Racism in Sport Group are offering FREE training to help people recognise, intervene and prevent racist incidents.  They can offer organisations a free 90 minute, in person, interactive training session which will:

•Discuss the extent of hate crime in England and Wales.
•Discuss the role of bystanders in the prevention of abuse.
•Identify a range of tools that can be used to safely support or challenge others.
•Describe ways to support individuals who may disclose abuse.
•Scenario-based, relevant to sport, and bringing in personal experiences.
