Cost of living: Support in the Bradford District

Organisations across Bradford have come together to launch a new website where people in Bradford can find out how to access support with the cost of living crisis.

Bradford Council, Community Action Bradford & District and Bradford District and Craven Health and Care Partnership have worked together to produce the website and also a booklet; ‘Cost of living: Support in the Bradford District’, which can be downloaded from the new website. Some printed copies will also be available at local libraries, community centres, GP practices, food banks and information centres over the coming weeks.

The website and booklet include a range of topics including information about government support; energy and bills; food resources; housing support; savings; scams and safeguarding; volunteering; looking after your mental wellbeing; things to do and other helpful websites.

There’s a lot of information about support for the cost of living available, but the aim of this website and booklet is to try and make it easier for people in Bradford District to find it all in one place.

More information will be added to the website in the coming months focussing on key issues like looking after your mental wellbeing during these challenging times, debt, the warm spaces scheme, loneliness and isolation, how to spot a scam, and how to look after your general health.

Please share this information with family, friends, and work colleagues so they are aware of the support available, so that we can all help each other get through this difficult time.
