FREE Keighley Health Check Events

People in Keighley are being invited to attend a series of free health check events taking place in local mosques throughout June 2026, including a dedicated women-only session.

These drop-in sessions are designed to feel like an “MOT for your body” – a simple, reassuring way to check that everything is running smoothly. They also provide an opportunity to spot potential health concerns early, so they can be addressed quickly before becoming more serious.

What to Expect

At each event, health professionals will be on hand to offer free, confidential checks and friendly advice. You’ll be able to:

  • Get a general health assessment
  • Identify early signs of possible health issues
  • Receive guidance on improving your wellbeing

There will also be support and information available on:

  • Accessing local fitness programmes
  • Stopping smoking
  • Reducing your risk of dementia
  • Healthy eating and nutrition advice for you and your family

Whether you’re feeling perfectly fine or just want peace of mind, these sessions are a great way to take a proactive step towards better health.
