Kids Climbing Wall

Having an active lifestyle and a healthy diet is important for everyone, but even more so for children. During their early year’s children begin to develop habits and behaviours that influence what they eat and their levels of activity, now and for the future.

Living Well Schools are working to create environments that promote and enable children and their families to live healthy lifestyles that will follow them into adulthood.

There is a range of evidence based resources, tools and interventions to embed physical activity and healthy eating within the school day and beyond. Please click on the links below to learn more.

Priority Areas

Living Well Schools aims to improve three key areas we consider to be most crucial for the health and wellbeing of our children. Physical health, social and emotional health and reducing classroom inequalities. Please see the sections below to learn more about work that is happening locally to address these issues.
